The paraganglioma of the urinary bladder is an extremely rare neoplasm that accounts for less than 0.06% of all bladder tumors and 6% of extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas. A 45-year-old woman presented with 8 years history of chest discomfort and palpitation after urination. Cystoscopy and CT scan showed a 2.7x2.7cm size well-defined solid lesion in the anterior aspect of the urinary bladder. This solid lesion was diagnosed to paraganglioma by transurethral resection. Then, a tumor was removed by partial cystectomy. Patient did not complain that urination induced symptoms like chest discomfort, palpitation and tachypnea. We report a case of paraganglioma of the urinary bladder in a 45-year-old woman, in whom a partial cystectomy was performed.
